Homicide Suspect Pleads Not Guilty; Victim Identified In SJ Case
Robert Styre is accused of fatally shooting Bridger Fleming in the Parkmoor Avenue incident from a week ago, according to Santa Clara Co.
SAN JOSE, CA — The suspect in a homicide investigation pleaded not guilty Monday to killing one man following a shooting last Friday in San Jose.
Last Saturday police opened a homicide investigation after a man was fatally shot in the 1500 block of Parkmoor Avenue.
Robert Styre is accused of killing Bridger Fleming, 38, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office. Fleming died at a hospital last Saturday. Styre was arrested last Saturday in Stanislaus County after a Ceres police officer stopped a vehicle associated with him. Styre was arrested without incident and taken to the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of murder.
