Man Shot In South Bay Marks 43rd San Jose Homicide Of 2020
Officers responded to a fatal shooting around 1 a.m. in San Jose Wednesday morning.
SAN JOSE, CA — A man was shot and killed early Wednesday morning, police said. The fatal shooting marks a grim milestone for San Jose as the 43rd homicide of 2020, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Officers arrived to the 4200 block of Senter Road, near Coyote Road around 1 a.m., where they found a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Officer Steve Aponte of SJPD wrote in a Wednesday morning statement.
Aponte wrote that there was no known suspect or motive.

The identity of the victim will be released by Santa Clara County after the vicitim's next of kin is notified, police said.
