Manhunt Launched For South Bay Shooting Suspect Who Fired At Cops
The suspect is described as "an armed and dangerous individual."
SAN JOSE, CA — Authorities have launched a manhunt for a suspect who fired on officers early Friday morning in San Jose, police said.
The officers were fired on by the suspect after responding at around 4:25 a.m. to the multiple reports of a man firing a gun at the corner of Lynette and Duffy ways according to police.
No injuries have been reported.

The suspect is described as “an armed and dangerous individual” and residents of the immediate area advised to stay in their homes, police said.
A perimeter has been set up in the area and a section of S. King Road and San Antonio Street has also been closed too.

“Expect heavy presence in the area as we continue this investigation,” police said in a statement.
