Four ways that you can participate are to take the #TryVTA plege and share it with a few friends, family or coworkers on social media or by email, fill out the form to request a transit toolkit with a free gift, a Clipper card loaded with adult round-trip fare and a customized trip plan or help spread the word on social media by adopting our #TryVTA profile photo and sharing the campaign "badges" on our #TryVTA web page.
VTA travel ambassadors will be available at select VTA transit centers handing out free Clipper cards to those who don’t already have one, giving helpful advice and spreading earthly-minded cheer.

Making a commitment to riding VTA even twice a month can have many environmental, health and financial benefits. When you take transit, you are reducing greenhouse emissions and are 44 percent less likely to be overweight, 27 percent less likely to have high blood pressure and 34 percent less likely to have diabetes. In addition, you’re taking one more car off of the road and potentially saving up to $6,251 annually per household.
