Seven South Bay Library Branches Reopen
The San Jose Public Library is giving out goodie bags for the first 100 visitors to celebrate the end of its 14-month hiatus.

SAN JOSE, CA — The San Jose Public Library is reopening seven branches on Monday for limited indoor services and giving out goodie bags for the first 100 visitors to celebrate the end of its 14-month hiatus.
Residents will be able to reenter those locations to browse library shelves, check out books and tech devices, access public computers and printers and chat with staff to answer reference questions.

The first of San Jose's 25 library branches to open include: Alum Rock, Biblioteca Latinoamericana, Joyce Ellington, Tully Community, Alviso, Evergreen, and West Valley branch libraries.
Those branches will reopen at 50 percent capacity and will be open from 1-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Goodie bags can be picked up at the Evergreen branch library at 2635 Aborn Road starting at 1 p.m.
