South Bay Crash Kills 28-Year-Old Woman
The crash was reported Tuesday at around 11:30 a.m. on the ramp from northbound Highway 17 and northbound Highway 280.

SAN JOSE, CA — A 28-year-old woman died when her vehicle crashed off a connector ramp between state Highway 17 and Interstate Highway 280 in San Jose on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 11:30 a.m. on the ramp from northbound Highway 17 and northbound Highway 280.
Officers arrived and found a silver 2013 Smart car had gone off the ramp and the woman, a San Jose resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her name was not immediately released.
Investigators determined the vehicle overturned at least once after going off the ramp and eventually it came to rest against a concrete barrier wall to the east of the ramp, according to the CHP.
