50 Years Later, Martin Luther King Jr's Dream Persists

Thursday marked 50 years since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's March on Washington. 

The 1963 rally for justice and equality drew hundreds of thousands to the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

King's "I Have a Dream" speech called for an end to racism.

Thursday, people across the United States reflected on the progress—or lack thereof—that has been made in the five decades since the impassioned plea. 

The video above features Santa Cruz Warriors players Lance Goulbourne and Stefhon Hannah, along with athletic trainer MIchael Douglas, talking about the on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It was filmed in January.
