Road Closures Announced For Capitola Art And Wine Festival
The festival is geared toward families this year, and road closures will be in place to keep patrons safe.
CAPITOLA, CA — The 37th Annual Capitola Art and Wine Festival kicks off this weekend, and promises fun for the whole family.
Over 160 fine artists will be hand exhibiting their works at the Local Artisans Marketplace, and 22 Santa Cruz Mountain wineries will be offering their libations to sip while you stroll.
The Festival Food Court will include a wide range of tantalizing artisanal foods, from oysters to Hawaiian Poke. The Kids Art & Music Area provides ongoing craft projects for the younger set, as well as musical play featuring MusicalMe. Local dance and performing arts groups will be on hand, as well as street performers and live music.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. Free parking shuttles and valet bike parking are available.
The following street closures will be in place starting Saturday at approximately 4 a.m. through Sunday at approximately 8 p.m.:

Vehicles left parked at the above locations will be subject to towing at the owner's expense, according to the Capitola Police Department.
