Capitola-Soquel Halloween Sex-Offender Safety Map 2017

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – As kids anticipate Halloween, costumes and trick-or-treating, it's important to ensure they're safe and secure on the night of spooky thrills. Checking to see how safe are your Capitola and Soquel neighborhoods is one way to start.

The California Department of Justice has a Megan's Law web site, which provides information on registered sex offenders, pursuant to California Penal Code § 290.46, so the public can better protect themselves and their families.

According to the website, there are nine registered sex offenders in Capitola, two of whom do not have current addresses.

In Soquel, there are 16 registered offenders, with three in violation. Seven of the 16 do not have current addresses, with two listed as transients.
