County CHP Officers Make 46 DUI Arrests in 12-Day Span
A quick roundup of Santa Cruz County CHP DUIs and distracted driver citations from April 11-22.
In a 12-day span, Santa Cruz County California Highway Patrol officers made 46 driving under the influence arrests.
Of the 46 DUI arrests, made between April 11-22, nine of those arrested were suspected to be under the influence of drugs, CHP reports. Four of the arrests came from distracted driving enforcement stops.Â
Also during that same 12-day period, county CHP officers wrote 546 distracted driver citations.Â
