Author Talk on Buddhist Psychology

In this inspiring evening, author and psychotherapist Karuna Cayton will introduce a process for working with, rather than against, depression, anxiety and compulsions by recognizing the habitual ways our minds perceive, react and ultimately mislead us. While the essence of the wisdom he’ll present is central to Buddhism, he offers it in a way that is accessible to all. He’ll share practical exercises designed to help you neutralize suffering and step onto the path of a radically liberating self-understanding. Karuna Cayton, a local psychotherapist, spent twelve years working with Tibetan refugees in Nepal and studying with Buddhist masters. His Karuna Group practice applies Buddhist psychology to individual and organizational clients.
