Many varieties of flavorful and exotic wild mushroom are foraged here in the Santa Cruz area throughout the year! Using seasonal wild mushrooms, we will pay homage to these tasty treasures by making some savory recipes you can recreate at home. We will prepare seasonal mushrooms in a variety of ways.
This is a sample of some of the items you will be preparing: Mushroom pate, a Bolete crisp salad, Braised Game Hens stuffed with Hedgehogs and Candy Caps with a Morel Demi-glace, Crab and Chantrelles over linguine  and Candy Cap Ice-Cream with pecans. There will be a few surprise items as well. Come join the fun!
