Folk Duo Hosts To Host Benefit Concert in Soquel Tuesday

The proceeds from Chicago-based 'Small Potatoes' performance will go towards A Taste of Soquel and Food and Music For the Good.

The Chicago based folk duo of Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso say it has taken them years of careful indecision to develop a repertoire they describe as "Celtic to Cowboy." Superb musicianship and showmanship, award-winning songwriting, and a strong sense of tradition has made them, as Dirty Linen Magazine once said, "one of the most polished, inventive, and entertaining shows on the circuit." In addition to outstanding songwriting, singing and showmanship, they also play a number of instruments very well, and even yodel sometimes. Always an absolute treat.

"...Prezioso's song "1000 Candles, 1000 Cranes" is one of the most outstanding songs of the past 50 years." -Rich Warren, The Midnight Special - WFMT Radio, Chicago, IL

Proceeds benefit A Taste of Soquel and Food and Music for the Good, a community event dedicated to ending hunger in Santa Cruz County by working with Second Harvest Food Bank.
