'Free the Leash' Video Explores Off-Leash Options for Dogs

New Dogs in Town, a group trying to create community for dog lovers and owners in Santa Cruz County, published this YouTube video exploring off-leash dogs laws in the area. 

Leashing dogs, especially at the beach, has long been a controversial topic in the county. The video touches on the issues off-leash dogs create and also the importance of having areas for animals to exercise. 

Interviewees on the video include county Animal Services staff and off-leash advocates.
