Loaded Guns, Drugs Found During Traffic Stop, Deputies Say
Two pounds of cannabis, two loaded handguns and pills were found after deputies pulled over the car, the sheriff's office said.

CAPITOLA, CA — The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said it stopped a car near 40th Avenue and Clares Street for a vehicle violation, then found two loaded handguns, two pounds of cannabis, an unspecified amount of pills, a scale and other cannabis products. The guns were not registered to driver Malakai Veikoso, 21, of Aptos, the sheriff's office said.
Veikoso was arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded handgun, possessing a controlled substance and illegally transporting/selling cannabis Friday around 10 p.m., the sheriff's office said.
