Police Blotter: Bike Thefts and Public Intoxication

Monday

4:58 p.m. Elizabeth Liu, 20, was arrested for using an ID with the intent to defraud. 

4:45 p.m. A bike was stolen on the 1800 block of 41st Ave.

Sunday

10:26 p.m. A bike theft occurred on the 1800 block of 41st Ave.

10:22 p.m. A bike theft occurred on the 2100 block of 41st Ave. 

10:10 p.m. A petty theft occurred on the 1400 block of 41st Ave. The suspect was cited and released. 

9:48 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of 41st Ave for a disturbance. A man was then arrested for public intoxication.

4:13 a.m. Jada Pate, 34, from Capitola was arrested for a DUI at Hill at Bay Ave. 

3:32 a.m. Lance Randall Clifford, 42, from Soquel was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on 3255 Greenbrae Lane. 

Saturday

9:47 p.m. A man was arrested for public intoxication on the 200 block of Esplandade. 

11:45 a.m. Stanley Brayson, 46, of Capitola was arrested at Java Junction River Street for disorderly contact due to alcohol.

10:07 a.m. A male suspect was arrested for loitering in the 1900 block of 41st Ave.

3:24 a.m. Elizabeth Butler, 32, from Capitola was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and for a probation violation on 30th Ave. 

Friday

9:58 p.m. Paul Marc Verduzco, 58, from Soquel was arrested on Freedom Blvd. For a DUI.

9:43 p.m. A man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1400 block of 41st Ave. 

12:24 p.m. A male suspect was arrested for public intoxication near the intersection of 40th Ave and Clares Street.

Thursday

1:31 p.m. A male suspect rear ended a second vehicle in the 200 block of Capitola Ave and left the scene. He was later contacted and a report was taken.
