Police: Capitola Man, 18, Suspected of Molesting 13-year-old Girl

An 18-year-old Capitola man was arrested this week on suspicion of sexually abusing a teenager five years younger than him, local media reported.

Capitola Police reported Esteban Perez Sanchez allegedly molested the 13-year-old girl during the summer, according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Officers served a search warrant at his 38th Avenue home Monday, the newspaper reported.

KSBW reported Sanchez was jailed on suspicion of one count each of oral copulation with a child, a lewd act with a child and a lewd act with a child by force.
