Reader Writes: 'Write-in Sam Storey for Capitola City Council'

Sam Storey has answered the call to run for Capitola City Council as a write-in candidate at the urging of residents seeking a representative who listens and really understands community concerns.

Capitola community members wanted a voice on the Capitola City Council that shared Vision Capitola values (created in 2016 by over 300 residents); including,

preserving Village charm as well as quality of life in our neighborhoods along with our small town feeling;
protecting our environment while maintaining a vibrant economy and preserving our safety.

Sam served on the Council from 2006 through 2014, serving as Mayor in 2010 and 2014. Sam lives in Capitola with his wife Helen and daughter Ruby. He has lived in Capitola for 37 years and has his own law practice in Capitola Village. Sam's heart and soul are in Capitola. Sam's ability and integrity have earned him numerous endorsements including four former mayors of Capitola.
