Boys & Girls Club Director 'Truly Cares': Carlsbad Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Let's help share these amazing stories! Presented by Ring.

CARLSBAD, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Pat Maldi, who nominated her co-worker, Abby Snyder of Carlsbad.

Hero's job: Child care or elder care
Reason for recognition: As the clubhouse director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, Abby has worked tirelessly since the start of the pandemic. First it was distributing food to needy families, then it was redesigning programming to fit the "new normal."
One thing to know: She truly cares about each and every one of the families as well as the staff she serves, and beyond. Her heart is huge!
Thank you for all you do, Abby!
