As we do each month, let’s take a look back at the sales for January compared to January of 2015:

2015

• Total sales - 85
• Average days on market - 52
• Average sales price - $810,210
• Average sales price/square foot - $367

2016

• Total sales - 87
• Average days on market - 53
• Average sales price - $744,488
• Average sales price/square foot - $364

For the first time in a very long time, prices were down compared to the same period the year before. Is this an anomaly or the beginning of a trend? We will watch and see.

Now, on to this week’s sales. During the week of 1/25/16 - 2/1/16, there were a total of 18 sales, a sizable 8 sale increase over the week before. 92009 - 9 (a 4 sale increase over the week before)

92010 - 2 (a 2 sale increase over the week before)

92011 - 1 (a 3 sale decrease from the week before)
