Carlsbad City Council: 2020 Election Results
Four candidates ran for two open seats on the Carlsbad City Council.
CARLSBAD, CA — The polls have closed and voters have cast ballots to decide which of four candidates should fill two open seats on the Carlsbad City Council.
The election of the District 2 and District 4 council members complete the city's transition from at-large council elections to district elections that started in 2018.
Incumbent Keith Blackburn competed against candidate Lela Panagides for the District 2 seat. Candidates Teresa Acosta and Phil Urbina faced off for the District 4 seat.
