Carlsbad Residents Invited to Budget Workshop

The public is invited to the City of Carlsbad’s annual citizen’s budget workshop Thursday, June 5, at 6 p.m., at the city’s Faraday Center, 1635 Faraday Ave. At the workshop, attendees will hear an overview of the city’s proposed 2014-15 budget and have an opportunity to ask questions and make comments. Input gathered at the workshop will be provided to the City Council.

The City Council is scheduled to receive a report on the fiscal year 2014-15 operating budget at its June 3 meeting and consider it for adoption June 17. The city’s fiscal year starts July 1.  The preliminary budget is available for review on the city website.
