The 3rd Annual Choir Golf Classic is the most important fundraiser of the season for the students in Carlsbad High School’s award-winning vocal music program.

This four-player scramble begins at 1 p.m. on the championship course at The Crossings at Carlsbad.

Golfers will enjoy craft beers, delicious food, and fabulous prizes at this fun-filled event. BMW of Encinitas has donated a two-year lease of a brand new 2015 BMW to the player who gets a hole-in-one.

Golfers and non-golfers alike have a chance to win $2,500 in cash at this year’s Helicopter Golf Ball Drop when they purchase a $20 golf ball.

Entry fee includes green fees, cart fee, range balls, lunch provided by Jersey Mike’s and dinner courtesy of Land & Water Company.

Complimentary craft beers and adult beverages will be provided by the Belching Beaver Brewery, Sage Beverages, and Pizza Port.

All participants will receive a swag bag and a free raffle ticket for great prizes such as, a photography session by Jerry Chen Photography, Taylor Made Golf Bags, dinner for two at Chandlers, and so much more. There will even be mini massages available from North County Spa.

This event raised $36,000 last year which helped pay for costumes, choreographers, vocal clinicians, competition fees and so many other necessities that enabled the students to hone their skills and share outstanding vocal performances with the community.

The goal this year is to raise $50,000. Thanks to sponsors such as Via Sat, PODS, La Mar Real Estate, and Cox Communications, this goal could become a reality, but more help is needed.

The CHS Choral Boosters are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization (tax ID #30-0208051) established to support the choral program at Carlsbad High School. There are more than 130 students between the ages of 14 – 18 who benefit from this program.
