Police Investigate Bomb Threat At Omni La Costa Resort & Spa
A "suspicious" phone call to the resort on Costa Del Mar Road prompted an investigation, according to the Carlsbad Police Department.

CARLSBAD, CA — A bomb threat at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad was found to be false, police said Monday.
A "suspicious" phone call to the resort on Costa Del Mar Road prompted an investigation around 4:15 p.m., according to the Carlsbad Police Department.
"Following the prescribed security procedures, we are verifying safety at the resort," the department said on Twitter. "It is important to be thorough and this will take a little time."

By 7:40 p.m., police announced the threat was found to be false.
"All is clear at the resort," the department said.

The origin of the incident remained under investigation.
