Public Invited To Share Input On Carlsbad's Budget
Carlsbad residents are encouraged to provide input on priorities for the city's annual budget.
CARLSBAD, CA — Community members are invited to offer input about their needs and priorities for Carlsbad's 2020-21 budget.
Residents can provide feedback through Feb. 14 via the online budget survey. In addition, the city is holding a community budget workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Faraday Administration Center at 1635 Faraday Ave.
The City Council held a workshop Jan. 21 to discuss budget priorities for the upcoming fiscal year, which starts July 1. Based on a recent statistically representative survey of Carlsbad residents plus other community input, the council identified three issues to focus on: growth management, traffic and homelessness.

City staff will use input gathered in February to prepare the draft budget for the council.
