Students at Discovery Isle Preschool Celebrate Earth Day

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Carlsbad celebrated Earth Day on April 22 with a variety of activities focused on learning to care for the planet. Students created paintings of trees and other things found in nature, and learned about recycling during a virtual tour of a recycling center. Students also used recycled tires to create garden boxes where they planted flowers and succulents.

Leading up to Earth Day, students learned about the importance of keeping Earth green and clean. Discovery Isle Preschool teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
