Traffic Alert: Crash Leaves Debris In North County

SAN MARCOS, CA -- A crash was reported Wednesday afternoon on westbound state Route 78. Two cars crashed around 4:15 p.m. near Twin Oaks Valley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident involved a Honda Civic and a Silver SUV.

The CHP log reported one car was in the center divider, while another went into the first lane, spreading debris throughout the freeway.

An ambulance was called to the scene, according to the CHP log.

Drivers should expect delays in the area as officers work to clear the scene.
