Vegan Fans: Carlsbad Yard House Adds Plant-Based Burger To Menu

CARLSBAD, CA — Yard House, a modern eatery known for its eclectic menu, wide array of beers and classic and rock music, this week introduced "The Beyond Burger," a 100-percent, plant-based burger -- with half-price deals for diners at its San Diego County locations, including in Carlsbad.

Launched in Long Beach in 1996, the restaurant chain is offering the special from Monday, July 8-Thursday, July 11. The Beyond Burger is soy-free, gluten-free and GMO-free, and is grilled and topped with vegan mozzarella, red onion, tomato, arugula and smashed avocado, plus served with pickles and mixed field greens tossed in balsamic vinaigrette, according to management.

The half-off pricing also applies to all Yard House burgers, including such signature favorites as the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger and the House Lamb Burger.
