Westin's 20|Twenty Eatery Names New Chef de Cuisine In Carlsbad
Michael Levine hails from Union Kitchen and Tap in Encinitas and has culinary background with focus on seasonally sourced menus.

CARLSBAD, CA — Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa's restaurant 20|Twenty announced this week that its new Chef de Cuisine is Michael Levine, a "self-taught" chef who brings more than 11 years of culinary experience and specializes in globally inspired and seasonably-sourced fare.
Levine, a longtime resident in the San Diego area and former chef at Union Kitchen and Tap in Encinitas, said he finds inspiration from fresh ingredients available year-round in Southern California and aims to incorporate such elements into his cuisine, management said.
Levine joins the resort team, helmed by Executive Chef Julian Quiñones, hotel officials said.

20|Twenty prides itself on a menu of international flavors, seasonal ingredients and seascape views paired with creative cocktails and an array of wines and local and international craft beers.
