2 Injured In San Lorenzo Fire
Deputies and firefighters rescued two people from the home that was gutted by fire early Wednesday, as 2 others and a pet escaped themselves
SAN LORENZO, CA — A fire in a single-story home in San Lorenzo injured two people and displaced a total of four early Wednesday.
Alameda County firefighters responded to 2:29 a.m. report of a residential fire on Brandini Avenue, according to a tweet from the Alameda County Fire Department.
Upon arrival, emergency responders saw flames at the rear of the residence.

Deputies from the Alameda County Sheriff's Department rescued one person from a rear window of the house, and firefighters rescued a second person.

The injured residents were transported to a local hospital with fire-related injuries. Two other people in the house and a pet were able to get out safely on their own.

San Leandro police are providing aide to the people displaced in the fire, which is under investigation.
