77-Year-Old San Lorenzo Woman With Alzheimer's Found Safe

Herrera was considered at-risk because she suffers from Alzheimer's symptoms and is on medication, according to the sheriff's office.

An elderly San Lorenzo woman with Alzheimer's disease who went missing Monday morning has been found safe, sheriff's officials said today.

Teofila Loida Herrera, 77, had last been seen around 9:30 a.m. Monday leaving her San Lorenzo home. She was believed to be driving a white Toyota Camry when she went missing.

Herrera was considered at-risk because she suffers from Alzheimer's symptoms and is on medication, according to the sheriff's office.

She had gone missing before.
