Baby Ducks Rescued From Castro Valley Storm Drain

Monday was no holiday for firefighters who came to the rescue of these ducklings.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Memorial Day was memorable for a mama duck and her ducklings.

Several ducklings fell through the holes in a storm drain cover.

Alameda County firefighters from station 6C came to their rescue, removing the heavy grate and pulling the tiny quakers to safety.
