CASTRO VALLEY, CA — The California Highway Patrol reports that a big rig took out at fire hydrant in Castro Valley. There are no reports of injuries.
The crash happened on Foothill Boulevard just off Interstate Highway 580. It was reproted at 7:07 a.m.
The crash is causing traffic to pile up in the area. Avoid the area during the cleanup operation.
