Authorities have identified Cristian Lung, 41, of Castro Valley as the man who drowned Thursday on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i according to Garden Island.com
The report said rescue workers responded to reports of a swimmer in distress near the Plantation Hale Hotel in Kapa'a, but neither they nor witnesses at the scene were able to revive Lung.
