Castro Valley Sig Alert Canceled
It took around 11 hours to completely reopen the road following a predawn crash.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Northbound I-238, north of I-580 East in Castro Valley, is finally clear.
A predawn crash involving a big rig and another vehicle forced the closure to two lanes of traffic through the morning rush hour. No injuries were reported.
The hazmat cleanup and then guardrail repair took until about 3 p.m.
