Free Home Repair Grants Available In Castro Valley

Attend a free meeting next week for more information on the Alameda County grants.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Does your home need repairs that aren't in your budget? Alameda County has grants available for qualifying homeowners to perform health and safety repairs. A free meeting will be held at the Castro Valley Library next week to get more information.

The grants are available in the following areas: Albany, Dublin, Emeryville, Newark, Piedmont, Union City and the unincorporated areas of Ashland, Cherryland, Castro Valley, Hillcrest Knolls, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol.

  • Minor Home Repairs
  • Accessibility Improvements
  • Mobile Home Repair
  • Union City: Major Rehabilitation Grants may be available
  • Lead Hazard Repair (owner-occupied and rental)
