Hayward Police Officer Saves The Day...With Clippers

Breaking: From the good news file, a Hayward police officer rescued a teen from a "horrible" haircut.

HAYWARD, CA — Earlier this week, Hayward Police were dispatched to a home on a missing teen call. All units available "saturated" the area, according to a post on the Hayward Police Facebook page. It turns out, the teen wasn't that hard to find, and he wasn't really missing. He was hiding because he had given himself a horrible haircut and didn't want anyone to see him.

That's where Officer Tran of the Hayward Police Department stepped in. All the barbers in the area were closed, so Tran took matters into his own hands, grabbed the clippers, and gave the kid a proper cut. You can see the photo — and read more about the day-saving deed — here.
