San Leandro Woman Identified As Homicide Victim
Tracy Benson's body was found at a regional park last month.
SAN LEANDRO, CA —A woman whose body was discovered at Lake Chabot Regional Park on April 26 has been identified as Tracy Denise Benson of San Leandro, according to the East Bay Regional Park District Police Department.
Benson's death is being investigated as a homicide.
The 60-year-old woman had been reported missing.

"The East Bay Regional Park District Police Department has jurisdiction and law enforcement responsibilities within the East Bay Regional Park District," the department said in a message. "No areas of Lake Chabot are closed due to this investigation."
