CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A 21-year-old man died Thursday night after crashing a motorcycle on Interstate Highway 580 in Castro Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was headed westbound on the freeway and exited on the 164th Avenue off-ramp, where he collided with a guardrail about 8 p.m., the CHP said.
The man's name has not been released.

No other vehicles were involved in the wreck, the CHP said.
