CASTRO VALLEY, CA — One person was transported to the hospital for treatment after a pickup crashed into a tree and a home in Castro Valley, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

The victim's name has not been released.

The crash happened in the 21000 block of Idena Avenue at 1:24 p.m., according to the app PulsePoint.
