CASTRO VALLEY, CA — The newest eatery to join Castro Valley's restaurant line-up, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, opened last week, bringing to the area "a taste of the islands."

Presently open for take-out and delivery only, the restaurant is at 20923 Redwood Road and marks the chain's 95th location in California and Arizona.

Founded in 2002, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, a fast-growing, Southern California-based business, built its reputation on its house-made marinades, teriyaki and katsu sauces, marinated meats, katsu hand-rolled in Panko bread crumbs and "Plate Lunches."
