Palomares Road Reopens
Highway 84 was closed south of Palomares, prompting the closure.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Southbound Palomares Road is now open.
The CHP decided to close the road Wednesday morning at Palo Verde Drive.
Niles Canyon Road, Highway 84, was closed through Niles Canyon because of a crash involving two large trucks. The Palomares Road closure was designed to prevent more drivers from getting stuck in that traffic mess.
