Sig Alert Canceled On I-580

OAKLAND, CA — Traffic that had been backed up for miles in Castro Valley and Oakland because of a multi-vehicle crash on westbound I-580 is breaking up. Two lanes had been blocked by the injury accident that involved a total of 4 vehicle, including an injured motorcyclist, according tot he CHP.

The crash happened at Benedict Drive in Oakland, but traffic backed up past the 580-238 interchange.

It was cleared around 8:30.
