"You Make Me Proud Every Day": Mother's Day Photos

CASTRO VALLEY, CA —Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! And part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love. For Molly and Hannah Meskienyar of Castro Valley, one of their shared interests is music. Molly tells us that this picture was taken at the Justin Timberlake concert on April 23 at the SAP Center. Molly has a message for her daughter, "Hannah - you are the most beautiful, kind, sweet, and smart daughter a mother could ask for. You make me proud every day and I’m honored to be your mother. Love you to pieces my boo.” Happy Mother's Day, Molly!
