A fire burned a quarter of an acre of brush in a Bel-Air canyon Saturday, but no one was injured and no structures were damaged, authorities said.

The fire at 1019 Moraga Ave. was reported at 3:39 p.m. just northeast of Sunset Boulevard and the 405 Freeway interchange, and it was knocked down about 4:15 p.m., Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

Three helicopters and 109 firefighters were assigned to the blaze, which burned in grass and brush near a residential playground, Humphrey said.
