This innovative program brings a diverse group of high school students to the nation’s capital to learn about the Holocaust and ways to fight prejudice in schools and communities. This year’s conference will consist of 80 student delegates from across the country.

The centerpiece of the National Youth Leadership Mission is a guided tour of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.  The Mission culminates with a ceremony underscoring the important role youth play to break the cycle of hate.

Participants are selected based on diversity, leadership potential, and ability to discuss issues of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
