Candidate Filing Deadline Is Friday for Neighborhood Council Elections

Elections will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Westwood Recreation Center.

The candidate filing deadline for the Westwood Neighborhood Council election is Friday.

Candidates have until the end of the day Friday to submit a candidate filing form. The deadline to file online is midnight.

The Westwood Neighborhood Council is an elected board of residents and community stakeholders that take positions on local issues and award grants to community organizations. The Westwood Neighborhood Council represents Westwood's interests to the Los Angeles City Council and Councilmember Paul Koretz, who represents the area in the fifth council district.

Elections will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Westwood Recreation Center, 1350 South Sepulveda Blvd.
