Cedars-Sinai Building Locked Down During Suspect Search
A burglary suspect who ran into a medical building near Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Wednesday triggered an hours-long lockdown.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A burglary suspect who ran into a medical building Wednesday afternoon near Cedars-Sinai Medical Center while fleeing officers was taken into custody as police conducted a floor-by-floor search.
The suspect allegedly broke into an attached garage of a home around 3:50 p.m. and then fled from responding officers, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
He ran into the Mark Goodson building at 444 S. San Vicente Blvd., which was locked down as officers conducted a search, police said.

The building is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center but is not located at the main hospital campus.
Announcements were made over the building's public address system ordering the suspect to surrender.

Police said he was taken into custody about 7:15 p.m.
Another suspect allegedly involved in the break-in was taken into custody earlier in the investigation, before the second suspect ran into the medical building, police said.
