Man Dies at Crash Near Holiday Inn Express

A man was killed Sunday in a predawn traffic crash in his mid-sized sports utility vehicle near Century City, authorities said.

An officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's West Traffic Division confirmed that there was a death as a result of the crash at 10320 W. Olympic Boulevard, but could not confirm if the man died at the scene or at an area hospital.

The crash was apparently in front of the Holiday Inn Express, two blocks west of the Century City overpass.

Paramedics were dispatched to the crash at 4:04 a.m. and rushed at least one person to an area hospital, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
