Monday Essentials: Cheapest Gas, Weather and More
Five things you need to know, Monday, July 22.

Hey Patchers, we're bringing back an old Patch feature. A daily Five Things column (Monday's Five Things will be called Monday Essentials) will provide reminders about upcoming events, weather forecasts, community meetings, weekend fun to plan for, lowest gas prices for the week and more.Â
If you have an event you'd like us to consider for Five Things, be sure to add it to the events calendar. We check it often!
Here are today's five things:
- Need to fill up the tank for the week? Find the cheapest gas in our general area for $3.94 per gallon of regular gasoline, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Arco station at 105 E. El Segundo Blvd. at Main Street.Â
- The National Weather Service is giving us a 20 percent chance of rain today and tonight, but the rest of the week, expect fog in the mornings and sun in the afternoons. Highs will be  in the high 70s and low 80s all week.
- DineLA continues this week local restaurants with special menus, discounts and contests. Among the restaurants in the Westwood-Century City area participating in dineLA are The Glendon Bar & Kitchen, Tanino Ristorante, Fundamental LA, Tuscanova, The Counter and RockSugar. Find out more, check out this Patch dineLA article.
- Get your fresh on Thursday at the Westwood Farmers Market. It runs from noon to 7 p.m. on Broxton Avenue between Weyburn and Kinross.
- Catch a free screening of Disney's Brave at the Westfield Century City's outdoor Summertime Cinema series. Movies begin between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. Fridays at the Level 2 dining terrace. The mall is located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd.
